Interventional Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking board certified/eligible Interventional Radiologists to join their team across a diverse network of facilities. Providers will work with state-of-the-art equipment to perform a broad and comprehensive range of procedures in a patient-centered environment. • Diverse network of facilities, including Lenox Hill Hospital (Manhattan) and Staten Island University Hospital
• Close to 250 radiologists performing more than 2 million medical scans each year

Responsibilities

• Perform arterial and venous interventions including angiography, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, AV access creation and maintenance, venous interventions, and vascular access
• Perform oncologic and ablative therapies including thermal ablation, radioembolization, and chemoembolization
• Perform complex vascular and visceral procedures including TIPS, GU interventions, GI interventions, and biliary procedures
• Perform spinal and biopsy interventions including vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and image-guided biopsies

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of an IR/DR residency or an Interventional Radiology fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York and Connecticut
