Interventional Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is seeking board certified/eligible Interventional Radiologists to join their growing team across diverse facilities, including Long Island, NY (Nassau County). Working with state-of-the-art equipment, providers will perform a comprehensive range of vascular, oncologic, spinal, and visceral procedures in a compassionate, patient-centered environment. Responsibilities

• Work with state-of-the-art equipment to perform a broad and comprehensive range of procedures
• Perform arterial and venous interventions including angiography, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, AV access creation and maintenance, venous interventions, and vascular access
• Perform oncologic and ablative therapies including thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, and histotripsy
• Perform complex vascular and visceral procedures including TIPS, GU interventions, GI interventions, and biliary procedures
• Perform spinal and biopsy interventions including vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and image-guided biopsies

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of an IR/DR residency or an Interventional Radiology fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
