Northwell Health is seeking a Staff Interventional Radiologist to join its thriving academic radiology department at Lenox Hill Hospital and the new Goldman Pavilion in New York City. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing Interventional Radiology section within one of the nation's largest health systems. The successful candidate will practice a broad range of IR procedures using state-of-the-art equipment and engage in teaching opportunities.
Practice Info
- Based at Lenox Hill Hospital, a tertiary care specialty hospital on the Upper East Side of Manhattan
- Based at Goldman Pavilion, a new 15-floor multi-specialty medical complex opening in January 2027, featuring two state-of-the-art interventional suites focused on oncologic interventional radiology and outpatient consult space
- Join a system-wide division with 30 interventional radiologists
- Practice full-time interventional radiology
- Actively involved in a 17-resident training program
- All new system-wide IT infrastructure and PACS with advanced technical support
Responsibilities
- Perform a broad range of IR procedures including angiography, arterial and venous interventions, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, TIPS, venous access, GU interventions, GI interventions, cholangioscopy, biliary procedures, and vertebroplasty
- Provide subspecialized interventional radiology services
- Actively involved in the 17-resident training program
- Engage in radiology resident, fellow, and medical student teaching opportunities
- Pursue research with funding and dedicated time for qualified investigators

Requirements
- MD or DO, or foreign equivalent
- Completion of an IR/DR residency or an IR Fellowship at an ACGME-accredited institution
- Currently board-eligible or board certified in IR/DR
- Possess or ability to obtain an unrestricted NYS Medical License
- Open to visa sponsorship
