Interventional Radiologist

Northwell Health is seeking board-certified/eligible Interventional Radiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology across various facilities, including Long Island, NY (Nassau County). This role involves performing a comprehensive range of interventional procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to a compassionate, patient-centered environment within New York State's largest healthcare provider.

Responsibilities

• Perform arterial and venous interventions, including angiography, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, AV access creation and maintenance, venous interventions, and vascular access.
• Execute oncologic and ablative therapies such as thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, and histotripsy.
• Conduct complex vascular and visceral procedures, including TIPS, GU interventions, GI interventions, and biliary procedures.
• Perform spinal and biopsy interventions like vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and image-guided biopsies.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• BE/BC in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of an IR/DR residency or an Interventional Radiology fellowship.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York.
