Interventional Radiologist

Northwell Health is seeking board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologists to join their growing Department of Radiology across various facilities, including prominent locations on Long Island, NY. • The Department of Radiology offers comprehensive screening, diagnostic, and interventional services.
• The team includes close to 250 radiologists performing more than 2 million medical scans each year.
• Radiologists bring years of experience and subspecialized training to each scan they interpret.

Responsibilities

• Perform arterial and venous interventions, including angiography, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, AV access creation and maintenance, venous interventions, and vascular access.
• Conduct oncologic and ablative therapies such as thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, and histotripsy.
• Execute complex vascular and visceral procedures, including TIPS, GU interventions, GI interventions, and biliary procedures.
• Perform spinal and biopsy interventions, including vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and image-guided biopsies.

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree.
• BE/BC in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology.
• Completion of an IR/DR residency or an Interventional Radiology fellowship.
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York.
