Interventional Radiologist

Radiology Partners Borderlands is seeking a full-time or independent contractor Interventional Radiologist to join their practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico. This role involves covering inpatient and outpatient cases, with a focus on interventional radiology procedures while also reading diagnostic images as needed. The ideal candidate will work in one-week blocks, enjoying a collegial team environment and no call responsibilities.

Practice Info

• Radiology Partners Borderlands supports 12 hospitals and numerous outpatient imaging centers.
• This IR position covers Memorial Medical Center, a 199-bed, Level IV trauma center.
• Coverage for one site only.

Responsibilities

• Support the practice in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
• Read Diagnostic between procedures as needed.
• Cover inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Be proficient with all aspects of interventional radiology and perform a wide range of IR procedures.
• 70% IR/ 30% Dx.

Compensation

• Competitive Salary + Benefits - Full Time Candidates.
• Competitive shift based pay, plus travel stipend - 1099 candidates.
• The salary range for this position is $500,000-$600,000.
• This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Shift & Schedule

• Day/1st Shift.
• Full-time (30+hrs/week).
• Willing to work in one week blocks (Monday to Friday) with no call responsibilities.
• Monday - Friday 8a-5p (weeklong shifts - no partial shifts).
• No nights or weekends required.

Requirements

• Must be fellowship trained in Interventional Radiology.
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Osteopathy (DO), residency trained in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure in the state of New Mexico.
