Jackson and Coker is seeking an Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in North Dakota, with specific coverage dates in August and September, and ongoing needs for 2026/2027. - Client requires a provider with general IR experience
- Average 10–15 procedures during onsite shift (varies)
- Reason for coverage: current locums taking a 6‑month break
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic vascular intervention
- Conduct angiography – venous and arterial
- Execute therapeutic vascular intervention, including angioplasty and stenting
- Administer thrombolytic and embolization therapy
- Perform interventional body procedures (non‑neuro)
- Insert vascular access devices/PICCs, central lines, and Port‑a‑caths
- Conduct aspiration/drainage procedures and percutaneous needle biopsies
- Perform various pain management procedures, including joint/epidural injections and vertebroplasty

Shift & Schedule
- 8/13 (8am) - 8/18 (8am)
- 9/4 (8am) - 9/11 (8am)
- Ongoing coverage for 2026/2027
- Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm onsite
- Evening call: 4pm–8am
- 24‑hour weekend call
- Average Callback Hours: Weekday: 2.5 hours; Weekend: 1.3 hours
Requirements
- Board Certified
- North Dakota license preferred (IMLC acceptable)
- Residency/Fellowship required
- ACLS
- BLS
- Malpractice clean preferred
- Neuro Stroke capability preferred but not required
