Interventional Radiologist

Detroit Medical Center is seeking an Interventional Radiologist to join its expanding program under new clinical leadership. This full-time position offers the opportunity to improve patient access and strengthen service lines across a dynamic health system, serving a diverse, high-acuity urban population. The role involves a mix of IR and diagnostic radiology, supported by a collaborative team and a network of trauma centers.

Practice Info

• Primary site: Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital, a Level III trauma community hospital in Commerce Township, MI
• System hospitals include Harper University (Level I), Detroit Receiving (Level I), Sinai-Grace (Level II), and Rehabilitation Institute of Michigan
• Team: 4-5 Interventional Radiologists and 4 IR Physician Assistants
• Procedure mix: Vascular, non-vascular, oncology, women's health, MSK and spine, and emergency interventions

Responsibilities

• Perform a mix of IR and diagnostic radiology
• Participate in IR call rotation across DMC hospitals
• Participate in resident and medical student education
• Lead quality initiatives, projects, and educational programs

Compensation

• Base salary structured for 10,000 annual wRVUs; additional compensation paid per wRVU above threshold

Shift & Schedule

• On-site Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM
• Schedules posted 90 days in advance
• Participation in IR call rotation across DMC hospitals

Requirements

• Board certified in IR/DR through the American Board of Radiology (ABR)
• Comfort performing a mix of interventional and diagnostic radiology
• Commitment to patient-centered, service-oriented care
• Interest in resident and medical student education
