Interventional Radiologist
A healthcare organization in Jamestown, New York is seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologist to join its clinical team. This position offers a highly desirable schedule with no call, no weekends, and no travel between sites, while providing a mix of interventional and general radiology services in a patient-centered environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of interventional radiology procedures
- Interpret cross-sectional imaging studies (CT, MRI, etc.)
- Perform general diagnostic radiology procedures as needed
- Collaborate with referring physicians and multidisciplinary care teams
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate, patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities and Clinical Impact
- Support surgical services through preoperative planning and postoperative complication management
- Deliver essential diagnostic and therapeutic interventions for oncology and nephrology patients
- Strengthen the urology service line by facilitating surgical support and promoting minimally invasive procedural strategies
- Enhance operational efficiency by improving length of stay (LOS), clinical outcomes, and complication rates
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position
- Monday through Friday, daytime hours
- No call responsibilities
- No weekends
- No travel between sites
Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Interventional Radiology (American Board or Canadian Board)
- Strong proficiency in cross-sectional imaging
- Ability to perform a broad range of general radiology procedures
- Eligible to obtain an unrestricted New York medical license
- Ability to obtain required credentials and DEA certification
