Interventional Radiologist

The Department of Radiology at Northwell Health is actively seeking board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Radiologists to join their team in Long Island, NY (Nassau County). In this role, you will perform a comprehensive range of advanced procedures using state-of-the-art equipment within New York state's largest health system. Responsibilities

• Perform arterial and venous interventions including angiography, uterine fibroid embolization, prostate artery embolization, AV access creation and maintenance, venous interventions, and vascular access
• Execute oncologic and ablative therapies such as thermal ablation, radioembolization, chemoembolization, and histotripsy
• Handle complex vascular and visceral procedures including TIPS, GU interventions, GI interventions, and biliary procedures
• Conduct spinal and biopsy interventions including vertebroplasty, kyphoplasty, and image-guided biopsies

Qualifications

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in Interventional Radiology / Diagnostic Radiology
• Completion of an IR/DR residency or an Interventional Radiology fellowship
• Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in New York
• No visa sponsorship available
