Jackson & Coker is seeking a Board Certified Interventional Radiologist for a locum tenens opportunity in California. This position offers a day shift schedule, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 2028. The role involves performing a variety of interventional procedures and diagnostic reads in an outpatient setting within a 3-hospital system.
Practice Info
- Outpatient setting
- Approximately 23,000 radiology exams per month
- Facility has 325 licensed beds
- Modalities include CT, MRI, X-ray, ultrasound, and IR
- Expect to perform 4-8 procedures per day and 70 reads per day
- Part of a 3-hospital system with potential coverage across multiple nearby sites
Responsibilities
- Perform abdominal and pelvic CT procedures
- Execute PICC line placements
- Conduct arthrograms and joint injections
- Perform lumbar punctures
- Conduct bone marrow biopsies
- Perform ultrasound biopsies
- Administer ESI, SI, and facet injections
- Perform reads between procedures

Requirements
- Board Certified Radiologist
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
- DEA registration
- X-ray supervisor and operator certification

- Hep B, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu vaccinations
