  • Dynamic Practice: Work across three sites—UR Thompson Health (Canandaigua), Geneva General Hospital, and UR Noyes Health—offering a broad mix of IR cases and diagnostic imaging (40–50% diagnostic).
  • Comprehensive Case Mix: Perform a wide range of vascular and non-vascular interventions from image-guided biopsies/drain placements to therapeutic interventional oncology, venous thromboembolism (VTE) management, and endovascular procedures (PVD and AAA management). Participate in comprehensive ambulatory VIR clinics at four locations.
  • Collaborative Team: Join a supportive, technology-forward group with robust backup, full university affiliation, and no mammography requirements.
  • Modern Infrastructure: Benefit from state-of-the‑art imaging equipment, IT platforms, and strong subspecialist support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the full spectrum of IR procedures, including endovascular interventions, biopsies, drainages, interventional oncology, venous interventions, and other image‑guided therapies.
  • Participate in VIR clinics and multidisciplinary teams (tumor boards, stroke/interventional teams) and contribute to peri-procedural care pathways.
  • Deliver exceptional patient‑centered care and mentor colleagues, staff, and APPs.
  • Engage with modern IT/PACS systems and contribute to quality improvement and research initiatives, if desired.

Call Coverage

  • Predictable 1-in-5 call schedule: one week at a time.
  • Remote call coverage for all regional/affiliate sites; on‑site call only at UR Thompson.
  • Additional incentives for off‑hours coverage.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Annual Salary $544,500 - $621,100, additional clinical and non-clinical incentives may apply.
  • $25K Recruitment bonus with 3-year commitment and relocation assistance.
  • Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, life, disability, malpractice and retirement plans.
  • Opportunities for regional and national academic/educational engagement.

  • Opportunities for cross‑coverage with other divisions.
  • Flexible practice structure to accommodate clinical interests and career development.

  • Affordable housing, excellent schools, and reasonable commutes (most faculty reside east of Rochester in Pittsford, Victor, and Canandaigua; commutes range from 25–45 minutes).
  • Rich cultural offerings, outdoor recreation, and a supportive academic community.
