nJob Description:
nPerforms complex diagnostic and interventional procedures under the direction of a radiologist.
nPrepares and maintains a sterile field, ensuring proper technique and adherence to infection control standards throughout procedures.
nCollaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure appropriate imaging and continuity of patient care.
nEnsures quality in imaging, patient care, and workflow.
nPerforms direct patient care duties within the technologist's scope of practice, including monitoring patient condition, transporting patient, and using proper infection control techniques.
nMaintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
nSupports inventory and supply management, including checking expirations dates, stocking of supplies, and notifying appropriate personnel of shortages.
nOperates and maintains equipment safely, properly wears Dosimeter badge, and minimizes radiation exposure.
nOther duties as assigned. Prepares and administers contrast agents as directed, following safety protocols and monitoring for adverse reactions.
nParticipates in time-out and procedural verification processes, ensuring correct patient identification, procedure, and site.
nSupports inventory and supply management, including checking expirations dates, stocking of supplies, and notifying appropriate personnel of shortages.
nPositions patients and equipment appropriately, and operates fluoroscopy and imaging systems to capture high-quality, real-time images for accurate guidance.
