This position offers a contract opportunity to make a meaningful difference by delivering high-quality, precise imaging services in collaboration with an expert clinical team.
Desired Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (R.T. (R)) and advanced registry in Vascular Interventional (VI) or Cardiovascular Interventional (CI), or eligibility to obtain.
  • Valid state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Prior experience in Interventional Radiology or similar advanced imaging settings preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile technique, radiation safety, and proper use of IR equipment.
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment and respond quickly during emergencies.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for a range of Interventional Radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
  • Operate IR imaging equipment for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, adhering strictly to physician instructions and safety regulations.
  • Ensure accurate imaging and documentation while maintaining meticulous records during all procedures.
  • Assist with patient monitoring, sterile field setup, and instrument handling throughout each case.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other members of the care team to deliver seamless, effective care.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to guarantee optimal function and availability.
