Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Goose Creek, South Carolina

Bring your specialized skills in Interventional Radiology to a dynamic hospital imaging department providing top-tier patient care. This contract role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a busy healthcare facility, utilizing your technical expertise and clinical knowledge.
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, rotational 8-hour shifts: 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, and 9:00am-until cases are complete
• Rotational call required on weekdays and weekends

Desired Qualifications:

• Interventional Radiology experience required
• Neuro Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing
• Familiarity with moderate sedation procedures across Imaging departments (CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Radiology, Interventional Radiology)
• Proficient in documentation using Meditech or similar EMR systems
• Comfortable rotating to all areas within Medical Imaging as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced imaging tasks with a focus on patient safety, quality care, and procedural accuracy
• Support medical imaging procedures that include moderate sedation
• Participate in cross-departmental coverage within the Imaging unit to ensure seamless service delivery
• Handle rotational call duties according to the department's staffing schedule
• Maintain professional standards by adhering to required uniform policies and hospital procedures
