Interventional Radiologic Technologist (IR) | Charleston, South Carolina

Exciting opportunity for an experienced Imaging - Interventional Radiology Technologist to join a dynamic medical imaging team in a hospital setting. This contract position offers engaging clinical challenges and the chance to work alongside skilled colleagues in a state-of-the-art facility.
Schedule:

• Monday-Friday rotational 8-hour shifts: 7:00am-3:30pm, 8:00am-4:30pm, or 9:00am until cases are completed
• Rotational call coverage on weekdays and weekends

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Interventional Radiology; neuro interventional radiology background strongly preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Graduate of an NLN-accredited school of nursing
• Proficiency with moderate sedation in imaging procedures (CT, MRI, US, Interventional Radiology)
• Experience with Meditech documentation system desired
• Professionalism and adaptability in fast-paced hospital environments

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Administer moderate sedation under physician direction for various imaging specialties
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float as needed to support all departments within medical imaging
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation through Meditech
• Adhere to dress code (blue scrubs) and departmental guidelines
