Key Qualifications:

• Certification as an IR Tech, with demonstrated proficiency in interventional radiology procedures
• Active and valid ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) registration
• State licensure as required
• Current BLS certification
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols, safety standards, and sterile technique
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and support staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Operate interventional radiology equipment to assist with diagnostic imaging and minimally invasive procedures
• Prepare and position patients safely and effectively for a variety of IR-guided interventions
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, infection control, and quality standards
• Educate patients and family members regarding procedures and post-procedure care
• Accurately document procedures and update patient records in a timely manner
