Interventional Neurologist | Thrombectomy Call Coverage | 4-Month Contract

We are seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Neurologist for a locum tenens opportunity in the Des Moines Metro Area, Iowa.

Assignment: Beginning of September – End of December 2026

Travel and lodging assistance available

Approximately 14 shifts per month

24-hour call (7:00 AM – 7:00 AM)

Callback responsibilities included

Schedule based on provider availability

Emergency stroke intervention and thrombectomy call coverage

Perform emergent thrombectomy procedures

Respond to stroke alerts and urgent callbacks

Collaborate with Neurology and Interventional Radiology teams

Manage inpatient neurovascular cases
