Interventional/Diagnostic Radiologist

An interventional and diagnostic radiologist is needed for locum tenens coverage at a 100-to-135-bed acute care facility located in Jefferson City, Missouri. The clinician will provide on-site inpatient day shift coverage for 10 shifts per month over a period of 6 months beginning November 2. The workload is primarily diagnostic radiology, supplemented by light interventional radiology procedures. This opportunity requires no call coverage and calls for a board-certified physician.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site inpatient day shift coverage
• Perform diagnostic radiology comprising approximately 80-90% of clinical activity
• Perform light interventional radiology procedures accounting for the remaining 10-20%
• Perform light IR procedures including lumbar punctures, myelograms, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
