Interventional Cardiology Physician

This facility is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: 24-hour call 7:00 AM–7:00 AM | 14 shifts per month
Practice Setting: Hospital
Type of Cases and Required Procedures: ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients, perform all diagnostic and interventional procedures (including the placement of intra-aortic balloon pump and impella). Cardia diagnostics including echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), stress, and nuclear testing.
Credentialing Timeframe: 60-90 days
Electronic Medical Record: Epic
Certifications Required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Drug Enforcement Administration registration
Licensure Required: Active California medical license
