Jackson & Coker is seeking an Interventional Cardiology Locums Physician for an ASAP and ongoing assignment in Virginia. This role involves both clinic hours and call responsibilities, providing comprehensive cardiac care to adult and geriatric patient populations. The physician will work in an inpatient setting, collaborating with other interventional cardiologists.

- Practice setting: Inpatient with call
- Call volume includes STEMI activations with less than every other day emergent call backs
- Average inpatient admissions per physician per day: 2+
- Total beds: 250
- ICU beds: 30
- Other interventional cardiologists present during coverage
- Patient population adult and geriatric
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities
- Perform balloon angioplasties
- Perform coronary angioplasty
- Perform percutaneous coronary intervention PCI
- Perform heart catheterization
- Provide medical management of vascular disease
- Perform coronary angiograms
- Perform embolic protection
- Perform carotid artery stenting
- Perform atherectomy

Shift & Schedule
- Coverage Details: 9/8 (7a) – 9/11 (5pm)
- Staffed onsite: Monday – Friday, 7am-5pm
- On-call weekday evenings: Monday – Friday, 5pm-7am
- On-call weekends: Saturday - Monday, 7am-7am
- Weekend coverage required
Requirements
- Board certified
- BLS/ACLS
- Active Virginia state license
- Clean malpractice
