Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking an Interventional Cardiologist to join a well-established cardiovascular group at Valley Baptist Medical Center-Harlingen. This full-time, employed position offers a built-out practice with a collegial team, strong mentorship, and a light call burden. The role provides opportunities for research, teaching, and professional growth within a leading cardiovascular services center.
Practice Info
- Full-time, employed position based at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX
- Clinic located in the Medical Arts Pavilion, directly connected to the hospital and Cath Lab
- Low call burden: approximately 3 days/month, shared across a 10-provider cardiology panel
- 4 Cath Lab suites with Cardiac, EP, and Neuro capabilities
- Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system and Cerner EMR on-site
- Access to an active clinical research department
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Manage device implantation and management
- Address structural heart disease
- Treat arrhythmias
- Manage heart failure
- Treat peripheral vascular disease
- See approximately 25 patients per day in clinic
- Perform 10-15 procedures per week initially

Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Licensed in Texas or eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license
