Southern Ohio Medical Center (SOMC) is seeking a personable, hardworking, and team-oriented physician for an outpatient cardiology role in Portsmouth, OH. The position is based in a new outpatient clinic on the main hospital campus, focusing on patient-centered care. Practice Info
- New outpatient clinic located on the main campus of the hospital
- Staffing includes 7 Physicians (Interventional, Non-Invasive, CT Surgery, Vascular Surgery), 5 Advanced Practitioners, 10 Clinical Staff, 9 Clerical Staff, and 1 EKG Tech
- Case Load: Office week - 60/day; Inpatient rounding week - 30-40/day; Cath lab week - 12-14/day
- Equipment includes Phillips ECHO Systems, Phillips XPER Hemodynamics Cath Lab, Phillips Intellispace Cardiovascular, and EECP Bed
- EHR is Meditech Expance
Compensation
- Eligible to earn additional compensation by joining our CERP (Pay for Call) Program
Shift & Schedule
- Office Hours/Work Schedule: 8a to 5p, Monday thru Thursday
- Friday 8a to 12 noon
- Call Schedule/CERP: 1:3 weekend rotation
- 1 night/week rotation
- STEMI call shared with 2 other interventional cardiologists
