Interventional Cardiologist

An exciting locum tenens opportunity is available for an MD specializing in interventional cardiology at a specialized cardiovascular care facility in Oregon, starting January 6, 2027. Clinicians will provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage, managing STEMI cases, performing cardiac procedures, and conducting general cardiology consultations. This on-site role involves working 10-15 shifts per month with dedicated medical assistant support in a fully staffed office.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour call basis
• Manage STEMI cases
• Perform coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs), right and left heart catheterizations, and other cardiac procedures as credentialed
• Follow patients through sign-off
• Provide general cardiology coverage including 1-5 inpatient consultations per day
• Maintain continuous availability to respond to inpatient cardiac cases throughout each designated coverage period
