UPMC Heart & Vascular Institute (HVI) is seeking an exceptional Interventional Cardiologist to join its expanding team in New Castle, Pennsylvania. Practice Info
- Located primarily in New Castle, Pennsylvania, with outpatient offices inside UPMC Jameson.
- Provides 24/7 STEMI coverage in collaboration with Pittsburgh interventional colleagues.
- Procedures include diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEEs, cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, and peripheral angiograms and interventions by vascular surgery.
- Service is comprised of full-time cardiologists and APPs serving two suburban areas near Pittsburgh alongside part-time specialists.
- Facilities include a full range of diagnostic services and two cath labs at UPMC Jameson.
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional services at the UPMC Jameson location.
- Participate in 24/7 STEMI coverage in collaboration with Pittsburgh interventional colleagues.
- Perform procedures including diagnostic and interventional heart catheterizations, TEEs, cardioversions, temporary and permanent pacemakers, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, and peripheral angiogram and intervention by vascular surgery.
