Interventional Cardiologist Job in Kentucky – Flexible Block Schedule

- Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured 7 on/7 off block schedule giving you predictable time on and true time off
- Team: Work closely with APPs, PCPs, Hospitalists
- Contract Length: 1-3 years
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient cardiology clinic
- Lipid and hypertension management
- 24/7 call during block schedule
- Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
- Instantaneous wave-free ratio (iFR)
- IVUS
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Supervise or interpret stress testing
Procedures
- Cardioversion
- IABP
- Temporary Pacemakers
- Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
- Peripheral Intervention
- Thrombectomy (preferred but not required)
Requirements
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology and Cardiovascular Disease
- IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
- 50 PCIs in the last 12 months
- 150+ diagnostic right and/or left cardiac catheterizations in the last 24 months
