Sanford Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Cardiologist to join its comprehensive cardiac program in Bemidji, Minnesota. This role involves providing interventional cardiology, consultative general cardiology, and optional vascular/peripheral work within a supportive team environment. - 3 cath labs
- Approximately 2,400 procedures a year, including 300 coronary interventions
- 118 bed hospital; 14 bed ICU
- Critical care air service
- Level III trauma center
Responsibilities
- Provide interventional cardiology, consultative general cardiology and optional vascular/peripheral work
- Perform elective angiography and interventions, as well as 24-hour STEMI services
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Admit, evaluate, treat, and provide consultation to patients of all ages with acute and chronic coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndromes, and valvular heart disease
Compensation
- Annual compensation floor range (based on 1.0 FTE): $587,813 - $760,699 plus estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs

Requirements
- No visa sponsorship available
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- For applicants just completed a fellowship: provide fellowship log with a minimum of 250 therapeutic interventional cardiac procedures documented and a letter of reference from the fellowship director
- For applicants not applying directly out of a fellowship: provide a quality profile from hospital(s) where he/she currently has privileges showing clinical activity for the past 24 months, including numbers of procedures performed morbidity, mortality, infection rates, and other complications
- For Interventional catheterization skills (not directly out of fellowship): provide documentation of 250 interventional procedures as the primary operator within the past 24 months and a letter of reference regarding competency from the director of the cardiac catheterization laboratory at the institution where the applicant most recently practiced
- Successful completion of a hospital affiliated Internal Medicine residency program of at least 3 years' duration
- Completion of a fellowship in Cardiology of at least 3 years' duration
- Successfully completed an additional 12 months of fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology
- All programs must be accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification by the appropriate specialty /subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
