Schedule: Flexible schedule - (Shared call coverage (approximately 5-6 call shifts per month))

Setting: Private Cardiology Practice

Patient Population: Adults and adolescents (16 years and older)

Summary

An established private cardiology practice in the Dallas-Fort Worth area is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a collaborative, physician-led environment focused on delivering high-quality cardiovascular care through advanced diagnostic and interventional services.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases.
  • Perform interventional cardiology procedures based on clinical indications.
  • Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.
  • Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, vascular studies, and other cardiac diagnostic imaging.
  • Manage patients in both outpatient and procedural settings.
  • Coordinate care with primary care physicians, specialists, hospitals, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide follow-up care and long-term cardiovascular disease management.
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in the electronic medical record.
  • Participate in shared call coverage (approximately 5-6 call shifts per month).
  • Deliver compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
  • Adhere to all regulatory, quality, and clinical practice standards.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
  • New fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
