A 359-bed regional medical center is seeking an Interventional Cardiology physician for locum tenens coverage in Paducah, Kentucky. The clinician will provide 24-hour inpatient call coverage, performing cardiac procedures, consultations, and diagnostic interpretations. This role offers an opportunity to work alongside an established cardiovascular team in a major regional referral center.

- On-site inpatient interventional cardiology coverage
- No ambulatory work
Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient interventional cardiology and EMTALA call coverage on a 24-hour call basis
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, coronary angiograms, angioplasty, and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs)
- Respond to all hospital cardiology calls
- Provide general cardiology consultations as needed
- Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests, including nuclear studies

- Dates needed: Nov 23-26; Dec 1-4; Dec 29-Jan 1
- Shift type: 24-Hour Call

Qualifications
- Board certification required
- Board certification in Interventional Cardiology required
- Prescriptive authority required
