The clinician will provide 24-hour STEMI call coverage, clinic care, and elective procedures in an inpatient hospital setting. Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient interventional cardiology coverage on a 24-hour STEMI call basis
- Provide clinic coverage
- Perform elective procedures during Tuesday and Thursday OR block time
- Remain on call throughout clinic hours
- Make inpatient consult rounds
- Perform procedures as deemed necessary throughout each assigned coverage period
Shift & Schedule
- Dates needed: Nov 3 7:00 AM - Nov 20 7:00 AM; Nov 30 7:00 AM - Dec 18 7:00 AM; Ongoing
- Shift type: 24-Hour Call
- Shifts structured from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- Clinic coverage Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Averaging 15 patients per clinic day
- Tuesday and Thursday OR block time is available for elective procedures
- Call required: Yes
Qualifications
- Board certification required
- MD
- New clinicians must arrive one day prior to the start of the first assignment block for orientation
