Position Highlights
- Schedule: Enjoy only 182.5 working days per year with a structured block schedule (7 days on/7 days off) while earning a competitive full‑time salary. 1‑3 year contract. Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Outpatient cardiology clinic ~3 days/week
- Inpatient consults and rounding
- 24/7 call during block schedule
- Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR)
- Instantaneous wave‑free ratio (iFR)
- IVUS
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Supervise or interpret stress testing
Procedures
- Cardioversion
- IABP
- Temporary Pacemakers
- Pacemaker Implants (preferred but not required)
- Peripheral Intervention (preferred but not required)
Collaborative Environment
Work closely with APPs, General Cardiologists, Interventional Cardiologists
Requirements
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
- 50 PCI's in the last 12 months
- KY license: IMLC State – Licensure facilitation provided
- KY DEA
