Interventional Cardiologist

Abrazo Medical Group - Biltmore Cardiology is seeking a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join their established and growing practice in Phoenix. This role offers a unique opportunity to engage in high-volume, complex coronary and advanced interventional procedures within a Level I Trauma Center-aligned cardiovascular program. The position combines robust clinical work with genuine academic engagement, supported by a strong referral network and a collaborative multispecialty team.

Practice Info

• Nine-location group of more than 28 physicians spanning general cardiology, interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, structural heart, and cardiothoracic surgery
• Active fellowships in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, and structural heart
• Practice aligned with a Level I Trauma Center cardiovascular program
• Access to TAVR, structural heart, electrophysiology, and advanced interventional services within the same group
• Collaborative team of general cardiologists, interventional specialists, electrophysiologists, structural heart experts, and cardiothoracic surgeons
• Established referral network generating strong procedural volume and complex case opportunities

Responsibilities

• Perform full-time, employed interventional cardiologist role with a non-structural focus - coronary and advanced interventional procedures
• Manage approximately 80% inpatient / 20% outpatient case mix
• Manage 24-28 cases daily across a diverse, high-acuity patient population
• Participate in shared call structure
• Actively participate in Grand Rounds, journal clubs, case conferences, and multidisciplinary heart team discussions
• Contribute to research, quality initiatives, and fellowship education
• Lead program development and innovation

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• BE or BC in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
• 2+ years of leadership experience preferred
• Interest in complex coronary or advanced interventional work preferred
• Team-oriented approach with commitment to patient-centered care and academic engagement
