CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo, NM, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join their growing cardiology team. This full-time, permanent position aims to expand access to interventional cardiac care and reduce patient transfers. The incoming physician will have access to a fully equipped cardiac cath lab, modern hospital resources, and a supportive clinical team.

- Clinic volume: 20–25 patients/day preferred
- Annual cath/angio volume: ~500 cases
Responsibilities
- Perform coronary angioplasty and stent placement
- Perform right and left heart catheterization
- Perform diagnostic coronary angiography
- Perform pacemaker and AICD insertions
- Perform generator changes and lead revisions
- Perform loop recorder insertions/removals
- Conduct stress test and echocardiogram readings
- Shared call coverage

Shift & Schedule
- Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Cath lab access: Procedures begin at 6:30 AM, clinic starts at 10:00 AM
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Interventional Cardiology
- Fellowship-trained in Interventional Cardiology
- Must also possess an unrestricted New Mexico Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New Mexico
- Preferably experienced
