Key Responsibilities

Provide specialized instruction to students receiving special education services

Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff

Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation
-
Participate in student program planning and team meetings
-
Provide consultation and educational support to general education staff
-
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Required Qualifications
-
Valid state teaching certification as required by state and district regulations
-
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

Must comply with professional standards of practice

Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university

Minimum one year of teaching experience

Standard Elementary Teaching Certification

Standard Secondary Teaching Certification

Standard Special Education Teaching Certification
-
Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) Endorsement

Current CPR certification, if applicable

Current health screening and TB clearance requirements, if applicable
