AdventHealth Orlando is seeking a dynamic, ILD-focused Pulmonologist to join its expanding Advanced Lung Disease Institute. This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care across the ILD and sarcoidosis spectrum, contribute to program development, and participate in research and education within a rapidly growing ILD and Sarcoidosis program aligned with a lung transplant program. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team and contribute to AdventHealth's significant investments in Lung Health.

- Aligned with a lung transplant program with a goal of 75-100 transplants per year
- Supported by APPs and a Pulmonary fellowship program launching in 2026
- Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team of rheumatologists, radiologists, pathologists, advanced lung disease experts, and transplant specialists through weekly MDD and community MDD
- Strong research environment with opportunities for clinical research, including funded institutional and industry-sponsored studies
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced lung disease with emphasis in ILD in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Provide specialized care for patients in the ILD center at Orlando
- Participate in the care of sarcoidosis patients in the clinic
- Provide inpatient care in ILD consults service
- Include MICU rotations
- Engage in clinical research
- Actively involve in fellows and APP education
- Contribute to program development, protocol creation, and community outreach/education

- MICU rotations consist of 7 days' daytime block (no night call)
Requirements
- Fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility through ABMS or AOA in Pulmonology
- Active FL License, or ability to obtain
- Previous ILD training or work-experience in following ILD patients at longitudinal ILD clinic is required
- Spanish speaking skill will be a valuable asset
- Priority will be given to candidates with expertise in lung transplantation
