Internet L/S Equity Analyst

Internet L/S Equity Analyst | New York City

We are working with a leading single-manager investment platform seeking to add an Equity Analyst focused on the Internet sector to its investment team in New York. The role will focus on fundamental, bottom-up research and idea generation across the Internet / Consumer Internet space, with significant exposure to the investment process and senior decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct fundamental research and develop differentiated investment views across Internet companies
• Build detailed financial models and valuation frameworks
• Identify and evaluate long/short investment opportunities
• Perform industry, company, competitive, and financial analysis
• Develop and present investment recommendations to senior investment professionals
• Monitor portfolio companies and key industry developments

Requirements:

• 2-7 years of experience in equity research, hedge funds, or a similar fundamental investing role
• Strong experience covering Internet / Consumer Internet
• Demonstrated ability to generate differentiated investment ideas
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• NYC-based or willing to relocate
