International Tax Consultant

Beech Valley is seeking an experienced International Tax Consultant to support a growing portfolio of inbound clients, primarily from Europe, entering or expanding within the United States. This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a dynamic, cross-border environment and enjoys working on complex structuring and advisory projects.

This opportunity will begin on a project basis, with the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on U.S. tax implications for foreign-owned entities operating or expanding in the U.S.
• Support initial U.S. entity structuring and market entry strategies
• Assist with restructuring initiatives for multinational organizations
• Perform withholding tax analysis and related compliance considerations
• Analyze permanent establishment (PE) exposure and related risks
• Conduct trust and entity classification analysis for cross-border structures
• Prepare clear, well-supported technical tax memoranda
• Participate in client calls and internal discussions, providing practical, actionable insights
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while also managing workstreams independently

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA, MST, or JD/LL.M. (Tax) preferred
• 3+ years of international tax experience, ideally with inbound U.S. taxation exposure
• Strong knowledge of U.S. international tax concepts, including entity structuring, PE, and withholding
• Proven ability to draft technical memoranda and communicate complex issues clearly
• Experience working with foreign-owned U.S. businesses or multinational clients
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a project-based environment
• Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with both clients and internal stakeholders
