Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician
A well-established, multi-site medical group in New York City is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join a growing outpatient primary care team. This role focuses on delivering comprehensive, relationship-centered care to a diverse urban patient population.
Physicians will provide full-scope primary care, including diagnosis, treatment, preventive services, chronic disease management, and care coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient histories and physical examinations
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic conditions
- Develop preventive care and health maintenance plans
- Prescribe medications and manage ongoing treatment plans
- Refer patients to specialists as needed
- Review diagnostic test results and adjust care plans accordingly
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records in the EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary clinical teams
- Participate in medical staff meetings and continuing education
Qualifications
- MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent with U.S. training)
- Completion of accredited U.S. residency in Internal Medicine
- Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Active, unrestricted New York State medical license (or ability to obtain)
- DEA registration (or eligibility)
- Eligible for Medicare/Medicaid enrollment
- BLS or ACLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in an EMR environment
Compensation
- $250,000 – $300,000 annually, depending on experience.
