Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician to join a well-established outpatient practice at Marshfield Clinic - Merrill Center in Central Wisconsin. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse patient panel, perform basic in-office procedures, and collaborate with a supportive team of physicians and APCs. The position emphasizes work-life balance and encourages involvement in medical education and research within a leading not-for-profit health system.

Practice Info

  • Outpatient practice seeing a variety of cases and a diverse patient panel
  • Patient census of 13-16 a day
  • Join a collaborative team of physicians and APCs
  • Nurse line is 1st call and shared call (phone call only)
  • Opportunity to perform basic in-office procedures

Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examinations
  • Admit (if applicable to the setting)
  • Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases, and functional disorders of various body systems

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA), or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
