Internal Medicine Physician

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Family Medicine physician to join an established outpatient practice in Watford City, North Dakota. Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations
• Admit (if applicable to the setting)
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems

Shift & Schedule

• Monday - Friday outpatient only practice with half a day each week for administrative time

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
• Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
• If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training unless waived by the appropriate governing Board
