- Multi-specialty clinic with 1000+ medical providers in 65 medical specialties
- Full access to several sub-specialists, imaging, lab services, and patient education within the Kelsey-Seybold system
- EPIC electronic health record is used throughout the organization for patient care
- Internal Medicine physicians are supported by nursing and administrative staff
- Periodic hospital call admitting only Kelsey-Seybold patients
- Certain call groups have nocturnists managing admissions overnight
Responsibilities
- Examine adult patients 18 years and older to ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of various medical conditions
- Order medically necessary tests
- Perform follow-up visits
- Place referrals to specialists when needed
- Interpret basic medical tests and imaging in planning care for patients
- Take periodic hospital call admitting only Kelsey-Seybold patients
Compensation
- Compensation generally ranges from $238,500 - $392,500
- Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus
- Compensation is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role

Shift & Schedule
- See patients in office from 8am-5pm Monday through Friday
- Typically not required to stay overnight in hospitals
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved training program in the United States
- Licensed in the State of Texas
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
