Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking an Internal Medicine Physician to join their team in Houston. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to adult patients within a nationally recognized multi-specialty clinic. Physicians will benefit from full access to sub-specialists, imaging, and lab services, supported by nursing and administrative staff, and utilize the EPIC electronic health record system.

Full access to several sub-specialists, imaging, lab services, and patient education within the Kelsey-Seybold system
EPIC electronic health record is used throughout the organization for patient care
Physicians are supported by nursing and administrative staff
Certain call groups have nocturnists managing admissions overnight

Responsibilities

Examine adult patients 18 years and older to ensure proper care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery of various medical conditions
Order medically necessary tests
Perform follow-up visits
Place referrals to specialists when needed
Interpret basic medical tests and imaging in planning care for patients
Take periodic hospital call admitting only Kelsey-Seybold patients

Compensation

Compensation generally ranges from $238,500 - $392,500
Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus
Compensation is based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role
