Internal Medicine Physician

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to join a well-established practice in Towson, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for a physician who is passionate about delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive primary care services, manage acute and chronic conditions, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care to adult patients.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Perform annual wellness exams, preventive care visits, and health screenings.
• Order, interpret, and review laboratory tests, imaging studies, and diagnostic procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient outcomes.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment options.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other healthcare providers as needed.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EMR system.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all clinical and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

Required

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Active Maryland medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• Current DEA registration.
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred

• Previous outpatient primary care experience.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Interest in preventive medicine and chronic disease management.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Monday through Friday
• Shared call schedule with other physicians
• No hospital admissions
• No inpatient responsibilities
• Approximately 30-40 patients per day
