Responsibilities

  • Perform history and physical examinations
  • Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnosis, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems

Shift & Schedule

Requirements

  • M.D. or D.O. degree
  • Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
  • Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
  • If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
  • H-1B and J-1 visa sponsorship available
  • Experience can be demonstrated by providing residency procedure log and a list of completed rotations (for recent graduates)
  • Experience can be demonstrated by providing a quality profile from hospital(s) showing clinical activity for the last 12 months, including number of procedures performed-morbidity, mortality, infection rates and other complications (for those not applying directly out of residency)
  • Must be able to demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services to be at least 50 patients in the last 12 months (if providing quality profile)
  • If a quality profile is not available, documentation of clinic activity for the last 12 months is required, demonstrating active involvement in the care of 50 patients in clinical practice in the last 12 months
