Sanford Health, one of the largest not-for-profit health systems in the US, is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join their outpatient-only practice at Sanford Clinic Brookings. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to adolescent and adult patients with a variety of complex illnesses, supported by a team of physicians and Advanced Practice Providers. The position features telephone-only call with no ER or hospital call required, allowing for a focused outpatient practice.

- Current Outreach Services to this Clinic include OB/GYN, Dermatology, Urology, Pediatric Cardiology, General Surgery, Behavioral Health, Nephrology and Cardiology, Podiatry, Acute Care/walk in services
- Full-Service Lab, Digital Radiology, Ultrasound, Mammogram, MRI, Lactation Services, Social Worker with an Integrative Health Therapist onsite
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Admit (if applicable to the setting)
- Evaluate, diagnosis, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency training within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
