Presbyterian Medical Group is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join their established practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive outpatient primary care services, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team. Practice Info
- Outpatient primary care services
- Collaborative team environment including nurses, medical assistants, case and care managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacist clinicians, and clerical staff
- Practice call (telephone only) in rotation with the group
- RN/MA and APP support
- 16-18 patients per day
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses
- Make professional medical judgments in the care of patients seen
- Order, conduct, and interpret appropriate diagnostic x-ray and lab tests
- Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies
- Document all patient encounters and communications appropriately
- Manage the provider/patient relationship
- Involved in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups
- Serve as a health care resources, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate

- Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available

- Board Eligible or Certified in Internal Medicine
- State of New Mexico Medical License
- DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration
- J1 waiver & H1b Cap Exempt eligible
