Sanford Health is seeking a BC/BE Internal Medicine physician to join their well-established rural health center at Marshfield Medical Center - Park Falls in Park Falls, Wisconsin. This traditional practice offers both outpatient and inpatient care within a collegial group of physicians and APPs. - Join a collegial group of 2 other physicians and 4 APPs
- Work closely with all departments and a well-supportive care team, including RNs who are wound care trained
- Multiple specialty providers frequently rotate onsite
- Clinic, dental center, and critical access hospital (10 beds) are located on the same campus
- National Health Service Corps (NHSC) approved site
Responsibilities
- Provide both outpatient and inpatient care
- Perform history and physical examinations
- Admit, evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illnesses
- Demonstrate active involvement of inpatient services to be at least 50 patients in the last 12 months (if not applying directly out of residency)
- Demonstrate active involvement in the care of 50 patients in clinical practice in the last 12 months (if quality profile is not available)

Shift & Schedule
- Traditional practice providing both outpatient and inpatient care
- Call is a 1:3 rotation for the hospital
- Nurse line is 1st call for outpatient (Phone call only)

Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
- If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
