Internal Medicine Physician

Presbyterian Healthcare Services, a not-for-profit healthcare system in New Mexico, is seeking a BE/BC Internal Medicine physician to join their growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a Level III NCQA Accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Team environment, supported by a comprehensive onsite care team. The position provides a collegial work environment with access to specialists and a focus on patient-centered care.

Practice Info

• Each primary care clinic in Albuquerque and Belen offers on-site clinical pharmacists, behavioral health clinicians, care managers, and case managers through the Level III NCQA Accredited Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Team.
• Patient volume averages 15 to 18 patients per day.
• System-Wide EPIC EMR and MyChart as the Patient Portal.
• Onsite Care Team includes Clinical Pharmacists, Behavior Health Clinicians, Care Managers, Case Managers, Nurse & Medical Assistants.
• Join an established, multi-specialty medical group.

Compensation

• Nationally competitive salary with relocation allowance available.

Shift & Schedule

• Monday - Friday Schedule: Provider will have 34 hours of scheduled patient care and 4 hours of administrative time per week.
• 4 day work week option.
• Call is in rotation with the group and is limited to telephone call only.

Requirements

• Must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine.
• Outstanding patient care qualities, highly motivated with an interest to grow their practice.
• Patient-focused and willing to collaborate and work in a team environment.
• Ability to obtain a medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico.
• J-1 visa sponsorship available.
