Internal Medicine Physician

Sanford Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Internal Medicine physician to join a newly established outpatient-only practice in Minot. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive care to adolescent and adult patients within a new facility, supported by on-site lab and radiology services. The position is part of Sanford Health, the largest rural health system in the US, dedicated to transforming healthcare access in America's heartland.

• Visiting specialties include Cardiology, General Surgery, Orthopedics, Podiatry and more

Responsibilities

• Perform history and physical examinations
• Admit (if applicable to the setting)
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients with common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems

Compensation

• Annual compensation of $350,000 for the first two years of the employment contract
• Estimated potential to exceed compensation floor from personally performed wRVUs
• $200,000 retention incentive to be paid if you remain a 1.0 FTE for 4 years (subject to a contractual agreement)

Shift & Schedule

• Office hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree
• Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada
• Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable
• If not board certified at the time of application but completed residency within the last five years, must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of residency training
