Sanford Health is seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine physicians to join a new state-of-the-art clinic in Grand Forks, North Dakota, projected to open in Spring 2021. Physicians will provide comprehensive care to adolescent and adult patients with a wide range of illnesses and disorders.
Practice Info
- Join a new practice in a state-of-the-art clinic, projected to open in the spring of 2021 in the heart of Grand Forks.
- The 2-story clinic includes an on stage, off stage design for optimum patient satisfaction and efficiency.
- The clinic features 32 exam rooms, 2 procedure rooms, 1 consult room, 1 x-ray room, 1 CT room, and a location for a mobile MRI and full lab on site.
- Inpatients are admitted to area hospitals including Altru Hospital in Grand Forks and Sanford Medical Center Fargo.
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examinations.
- Admit (if applicable to the setting), evaluate, diagnosis, treat and provide consultative services to adolescent and adult patients.
- Manage common and complex illness, diseases and functional disorders of the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, metabolic, musculoskeletal, hematopoietic, gastroenteric, and genitourinary systems.

Shift & Schedule
- Clinic hours are Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
- Hospital rounds Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM-8:00 AM.
Requirements
- M.D. or D.O. degree.
- Successful completion of an Internal Medicine residency program accredited by the ACGME, the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physician and Surgeons of Canada.
- Certification in the primary area of practice by the appropriate specialty/subspecialty board of the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, as applicable.
- Applicants who are not board certified at the time of application but who have completed their residency training within the last five years shall be eligible, however must achieve board certification within five years from the date of completion of their residency training.
